Welcome to the Hypnosis Motivation Institute! We are a nationally-accredited, non-profit hypnotherapy college. For more than 40 years, we have been serving our Southern California community by helping our clients and students improve their lives.

Students at HMI will learn the most important hypnotherapy techniques and skills in our extensive, one-year training and clinical internship program. HMI even offers flexible class schedules that allow students to work full-time in their “traditional” jobs, while preparing for a career you’ll spend helping others achieve the benefits of hypnosis.
In HMI’s hypnotherapy training program, you’ll experience:
- 720 hours/one year of classroom instruction
- Six months of on-site clinical internship and supervision
- Federal financial aid for students who qualify
- Live therapies conducted in the classroom
- An introduction to hypnotherapy business practices
- Advertising and promotion classes
